I cannot say enough positive about Sam, owner of Air-One, and his highly ethical and dependable service. I've had the privilege of working with him on two occasions and both times was very pleased. And to be clear--I'm very hard to please. Most recently, he installed a whole new Carrier heat pump and air handler system for my nky condo--as mine was dying after 14 years. As he promised, my utility bills decreased considerably. I can't believe how much lower they are and have been thrilled about that! Before doing so, I compared prices on new systems from four other local big name HVAC companies who came out to measure assess and give me quotes and was pleasantly surprised that Air-One's price was very competitive--in fact i saved money by going with him compared to the other 4 companies. He also worked to make sure I got a Duke rebate of $300 for the new system. He shows up on time as promised for his service appointments, had very good communication with me as a customer and really knows his stuff! It was evident to me he truly cares about helping people and does it at a fair and reasonable price. I'd highly recommend him!

We have purchased 8 HVAC systems in our life of home ownerships. Air-one Heating Company; Ben the owner, was such a HUGE relief for us to find an honest, quality company. Ben is very professional and knowledgeable and cares about his work. We had extensive work done upgrading our system for allergies. We have a huge filter Merv11 and ultra violet light to kill molds and bacteria, which living at a lake definitely needs this help. Ben also corrected all the less then average work our builder had done. We noticed a difference immediately and so excited to have had it done. Worth every penny!!! We highly recommend Ben @ Air One Heating company. We plan to continue a yearly contract with Ben. When you find someone of this impressive integrity and quality of workmanship and professionalism ,that you can trust, don't let them go!

My review for an amazing company that saved Christmas.

When temperatures dropped to 11° for the first time this season, we woke up on Christmas morning to a cold house and a 2 year old furnace that would only cycle and reluctantly blow lukewarm air.

We immediately called Ben with Air One Heating & Cooling. First off, he answered on Christmas Morning He walked us through how we could troubleshoot the issues until things reopened the next day. When we couldn't confirm what the problem was and it was still freezing, he would text us new ideas, "check this - blow into that." He remained in direct contact with us all morning/afternoon. He never failed to answer when we needed him with a new issue... again. And when we were at a loss, he loaded up his truck on Christmas DAY, left his family, and was at our door within 45 minutes. He serviced our furnace, provided new air filters that we needed (this chore has admittedly been on the back burner for months), and left our house with a roaring furnace and hot air blowing through our vents.

He called us first thing this morning (the 26th) to check in on us and make sure we were warm. I could not recommend this company enough. Ben's knowledge and guidance, with his bonus in carpentry skills, and the kindness to put a customer and their family, before his own needs on Christmas morning should not be overlooked. He went above and beyond for our family, and I could not thank him enough. I find comfort having found our "forever" heating and cooling guy.

If you've made it this far in my post, and EVER have heating and cooling needs, Ben with Air One is who you need to call.

A power surge on one of the first hot days of the season zapped the compressor in our 4 year old AC system (originally installed by Air One). Ben came out same day and tested everything else first, hoping it was NOT the compressor. When it ultimately was the compressor, he promptly ordered a new one and confirmed it was under warranty. The day he received the compressor, he was out here in the extreme heat replacing it and adding fail-safe parts to ensure this does not happen again in the future. He even gave us a break on replacing the coolant we lost. I will continue using Air One Heating and Cooling for regular maintenance on equipment to further solidify our professional relationship.

Sam was always very professional, prompt, and great to have as my regular HVAC professional. Sam introduced me to Ben years ago while putting a humidifier in for me. Ben now owns the business, and has continued the excellent service Sam used to provide to his clients. Ben is easy to get in contact with, and is very knowledgeable in HVAC repairs and installations. He replaced my entire HVAC system last summer. His prices for installations, diagnostics, repairs, and parts are extremely fair. I would certainly recommend his service to anyone in need of HVAC repairs or installation. Call Ben for anything HVAC.

Sam was excellent! Our home warranty hooked us up with them after our AC went out and he was out the very next day, right on time. Friendly and professional, he replaced the motor to our fan with a new one he had in his truck, and explained to me what I should look for to ensure it is working properly. He even checked in with quick and friendly text a few hours later. I let him know we were in a hurry because we have a baby in the house, and Sam went above and beyond, even working as quietly as possible while I was in meetings working from home. Fantastic company, and I can not recommend enough.

We needed to replace an 18 year old system that was failing, so air one was called, and they delivered! Sam installed a new Carrier system that not only is quieter, but has cut our electric bills by $100 a month consistantly. This unit will "pay for itself" in a few years. I can’t even say how unbelievably happy I am with the service I received from Air One! We were told our board was fried and would cost $900 from another company. Before we knew it we were getting a quote for a brand new furnace and air conditioner?! Wow now that was almost $6,000! It ended being a tiny part and fixed in no time. I’m going to bed happy in a warm house thanks to Sam at Air One.
