Sam Ammerman opened Air One Heating and Cooling in 1992 to provide top-notch HVAC services to the Cincinnati, Ohio , region. Mr. Ammerman successfully built Air One Heating and Cooling by offering great customer service, quality HVAC equipment, and attention to detail that his customers loved.
Ben Juilfs joined the company in 2018 to learn the Sam Ammerman Heating & Cooling keys to success. Ben and Sam are passionate about offering friendly customer service and attention to detail. Over the next few years, HVAC expert Sam Ammerman taught Ben what it takes to install, maintain, and repair heating and cooling equipment.
After training with Sam for almost five years, Ben purchased Air One Heating and Cooling to continue offering the excellent HVAC service provided by Ammerman for the last twenty-five-plus years.
Ben Juilfs, The New Owner
Ben was born and raised in Clermont County, Ohio. Ben loves the charming county, nestled in the heart of the Midwest; he and the local area have undergone significant changes and transformations during this time. As a child, He remembers the vast expanses of farmland stretching as far as the eye could see, with cornfields and barns dotting the landscape. The county was known for its close-knit communities, where everyone seemed to know each other by name.
As the years went by, Clermont County witnessed substantial growth and development like other communities on the east side of Cincinnati, Ohio . New neighborhoods, shopping centers, and schools emerged, giving the county a more urban feel. Despite these changes, the sense of community has remained strong, with local events, festivals, and traditions continuing to bring people together. Over the years, Ben has seen the county adapt to the demands of modern life while still maintaining its small-town charm. It has been a delightful journey growing up in Clermont County, Ohio, and witnessing its evolution into a vibrant and thriving community. Ben settled in Clermont and started planting his roots.
Raising A Family
Ben and Deanne Juilfs are proud parents of two daughters, Haley and Maelynn. Their oldest daughter, Haley, has found her true calling working with special needs and behaviorally challenged children as a teacher at Withamsville-Tobasco Elementary. She is known for her dedication and passion for helping these children reach their full potential. Haley is happily married to Josh, a skilled welder, and together they have two adorable grand-doggies, Shelby-Lynn, and Lexie Lou.
Their youngest daughter, Maelynn, is a vibrant and adventurous teenager currently a sophomore at West Clermont High School. She has a passion for archery and is a proud member of the school's archery team. Maelynn's love for outdoor activities doesn't stop there - she also enjoys trap shooting and hunting various animals, such as alligators, deer, turkeys, ducks, and pheasants. Her passion for hunting is a hobby and a way to connect with nature and appreciate its beauty.
Apart from her love for outdoor activities, Maelynn is also a competitive kickboxer at the national and world level. She has represented Team USA twice in the World Kickboxing and Karate Union, showcasing her exceptional skills and dedication to her sport. It is evident that Maelynn has a drive for success and constantly seeks new challenges to push herself further.
In their free time, Ben and their son-in-law, Josh, team up to build demolition derby cars for Maelynn to crash at county fairs. This unique hobby brings the family together as they support and cheer Maelynn on during her daring performances. It is a testament to the Juilfs' close-knit family and their willingness to support each other's passions and interests.

They are a loving and devoted family who cherishes the moments spent together, whether it be cheering on Maelynn at her kickboxing competitions or enjoying quality time with their grand-doggies.
